Cosmo Gold Project
Subject to completion of Riedel’s binding agreement with Sarama Resources.
The Cosmo Gold Project comprises 7 contiguous exploration tenements covering approximately 580km² in the Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia, approximately 85km north-east of Laverton and 95km west of the world-class Gruyere Gold Mine (9.1 Moz). The Project covers the entirety of the Cosmo-Newbery Greenstone Belt, one of the last effectively underexplored greenstone belts in Western Australia, and captures over 50km of strike length.
Gold was first discovered in the area in the 1890s, with multiple historical workings documented across the Project and historical surface sampling returning high-grade results of up to 52 g/t Au.
A regional soil geochemistry program, the most significant exploration work undertaken on the Project in decades, has been completed and is informing the generation of drill targets.
